Photo - Jacuzzi Built Into Cumaroo Wood Deck

By building a deck around this jacuzzi, it becomes easier for the client to get in and out of the spa. Cumaroo was selected because it is a harder wood that requires less maintenance than redwood and is much smoother (less splinters) to walk on.

Need a good San Diego tree trimmer?

With the coming of all the El Nino Winter storms, the trees of San Diego are in for a battering. My favorite tree trimmer in San Diego is Homestead Tree Service, (619) 443-1775. Fast, fair-priced and skilled, Homestead did a great job dealing with the storm damaged tree at my house.

This palm is also know as the Jelly Palm, it can reach 25 feet and is cold hardy (20 degrees).

Photo - Fenced in Vegetable Garden

This client lived in a rural part of North San Diego County along with many gophers and rabbits. The fence extends 12" below the grade.  Each box is lined at the bottom to prevent gophers from tunneling up.  Pavers along the walkways add another barrier.  Each bed has it's own water spigot so that the client will only water the beds with plants in them.
