Photo - Back Yard Cafe Lights

A great way to add some night time ambiance is string cafe lights.
These lights can be strung from trees, structures or even a simple redwood post as seen here.

Photo - Mexican Bush Sage (Salvia leucantha)

This my favorite plant because it is so easy to grow, the hummingbirds love it and the color is dazzling. Photo by Doug Kalal, Great Gardens Landscape Design, taken at client's house in Poway

Photo - Semi Dwarf Orange Tree

This beautiful Semi Dwarf Orange tree is a Mineola.  The tree is about 15 years old and is 10 feet tall x 10 feet wide.   This tree reached it's current size in about 7 years, starting as a small 5 gallon plant from Costco.  It produces about 300 oranges each year. The fruit is ripe by mid February.
