From design to finishing, here is how to build a concrete patio. This patio, barn ramp and mow strip totaled 1,500 square feet in new concrete. Because of the shade structure footings, extra thickness for the hot tub and outdoor kitchen, this total concrete pour required 24 cubic yards.
