Hi Doug! Wow! I love the dark red!!! By reducing reflection from the sun, it makes the plants MUCH happier and the whole outdoor environment more livable in summer, cozier in winter. It unifies the yard and gives it a more natural look. It's woodsier, comfortable to be around. Huge improvement over the more common DG color, which has a "baked" look. When living in El Cajon, I painted my concrete the same color and it completely transformed the property.
Having a beautiful landscape like this in your garden, gives you a sanctuary where you can attune with nature and commune with your innermost being. It’s a good thing that amidst the hustle and bustle of everyday living, there is a place in your own home where you can relax and meditate.
